Alright...It's not too hard to gulp up the fact that although Yahoo has gained good popularity preceded by Google, it is almost not doing too much good to drive much POTENTIAL traffic towards websites. I am unable to provide any statistics though right a way but could say it's not even 20% of Google generating traffic.

Unlike Google, Yahoo does index almost every link back to a website. So, You must be much careful while submitting your website to any web page. Try getting high quality relevant links targeting meaningful keywords only. It is recommended to focus on geo targeting methodology of internet marketing while optimizing your website.

Submit well designed atom, sitemap to prescribed destination along with getting a place in Yahoo directory for your website . Focus on your landing pages. Try each tools and features that Yahoo offers to get your website more visible. Do give good amount of time researching over the aspects that Yahoo is making its move towards.
